What preparatory work is needed before the survey?
Clear, concise answers.
For HTS to obtain exact measurements during the survey, the following preparatory work should be completed:
Finished surfaces: - Screed must be laid and dried - Walls in the staircase area must be plastered - Floor coverings should be confirmed or already laid
Clear access: - Old staircases and temporary scaffolding must be removed - The deck opening must be accessible from above
Free of services: - In the area of the stair stringers and bearing points, no heating pipes, electrical cables, or service ducts may be installed
Have ready for the appointment: - Preferences for wood species, railing design, and finish - Desired delivery date - Information about wall construction (load-bearing or non-load-bearing)
The more complete the preparatory work, the more precise the survey and the subsequent quote.
