Block Step — Underfoot element
Category: Underfoot element
Solid step made from a single piece of material.
A block step is made from a solid block of stone, timber or concrete with a rectangular cross-section. It is frequently used as an individual entrance step or for freestanding outdoor staircases. Block steps can be wedge-shaped and rest on beams or slabs. Their solidity gives them a particularly robust, high-quality appearance.
