European cherry has a Brinell hardness of approximately 29 N/mm² and is distinguished by its warm, reddish-brown colour tone and a fine, elegant grain. Under light exposure, cherry darkens noticeably, gaining depth and elegance. Its moderate hardness makes cherry a popular material for representative interior stairs that are less heavily used.
