Projection Depth
Total depth of the staircase in plan view.
The projection depth is the measurement from the rearmost to the foremost point of a staircase. It describes how far the staircase extends into the room and is an important parameter for space planning. In addition to the projection, sufficient clearance for accessing the first step must be provided.
