Staircase with transparent safety-glass treads.
Glass stairs connect levels with transparent treads made of laminated safety glass (LSG) or acrylic glass. Their lightness and transparency make rooms appear open and light-filled. The treads consist of multi-layer LSG that remains load-bearing and walkable even if the glass breaks. Slip-resistant surfaces are achieved through special screen printing or satinated areas. Glass stairs can be superbly combined with steel or timber.
