Paddle Stair
Space-saving stair with alternately offset treads.
A paddle stair is an especially space-saving staircase whose treads are alternately offset. Each step is only fully walkable on one side, requiring an alternating step when ascending. Due to the narrow width, paddle stairs are not suitable for transporting bulky items and are not permitted as escape routes.
