Dortmund hat eine vielfaeltige Baustruktur: Bergmannssiedlungen aus dem fruehen 20. Jahrhundert, Nachkriegswohnungen in Huckarde oder Eving, moderne Neubauten in Hoerde-Phoenix und der Innenstadt. Für Altbauten im Sueden (Hombruch, Kirchhoerde) ersetzen wir häufig alte Wangentreppen durch neue Massivholz-Konstruktionen; für Neubauten werden oft Podesttreppen oder Faltwerktreppen in Eiche gefragt.
In Dortmund treffen wir oft auf typische Phoenix-West-Lofts mit offenen Grundrissen — hier sind Faltwerktreppen ohne sichtbare Wangen, oft in Kombination mit Edelstahl-Gelaendern, die gefragte Lösung. Auch Betontreppen mit Holz-Belegung ist in vielen 60er-Jahre-Wohnungen eine wirtschaftliche Renovierungs-Option.
